After a presentation at Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California, EMPTY HANDS was given funding for a Workshop. When the pandemic hit, a 5-minute marketing video was created instead.
There are three adult characters – one, the Sensei, is a veteran. He served in war and made this change in this life to deal with PTSD. There are two more adult roles in the script that don’t appear in the video – one, the mother of one of the teens, and the other is the father of another. The remaining 8 characters are high school students.
